Position DescriptionDevelops new prospects and interacts with existing customers to increase sales of the organization's products and services. Maintains relationships and favorable contacts with current and potential accounts. Develops business through extraordinary customer service! Has extensive contact with new customers as well as manages existing accounts. Builds relationships with physicians, their offices, and other referral sources. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Resolves customer issues/problems
- Makes recommendations for potential product enhancements or modifications to increase sales
- Assists in preparation of sales forecasts, quotes, and negotiations
- Is familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
- Informs customer of unit prices, setup date, anticipated delays, and other information needed
- Records or files copies of orders received
- Follows up on orders to ensure delivery by specified dates
- Receives and checks customer complaints
- Compiles statistics and prepares reports for executives
- Answers questions from customers or individuals on how our product operates
- Makes sure that quotes are processed through the quoting process in a timely manner
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications- Minimum of associate's degree or 2 to 5 years of sales background in the medical field or related area
- Hard-working, self-motivated, independent individual with strong desire to succeed
- Common sense and a desire to help others and contribute to the growth of our business
- Demonstrated stable career with a track record of success in Sales
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Polished, professional presentation
- Ability to keep organized, accurate records on daily activities and results
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage territory sales funnel to analyze and manage pipeline activity and monitor sales activity against assigned quotas
- Ability to provide great service as well as to ask for business quickly
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Clean motor vehicle record and car insurance
Physical Requirements- Ability to divide time among sitting, standing, walking, and up to 100% travel within a territory, generally in personal vehicle
- Minimal lifting and loading
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
Other Skills and Abilitites
- Must be familiar with current software packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Salesforce
- Must be familiar with all product lines and customer base
- Must be familiar with using computers to input, manipulate, and retrieve information
